Oxbow Associates, Inc. is a Massachusetts based wetlands and wildlife consulting company specializing in wetlands delineations and permitting and rare and endangered species permitting and evaluations for corporate, public and private clients throughout the Northeast.
We have more than 40 years combined experience in Wetlands Science and the Evaluation and Study of herpetozoan species, specifically turtles, snakes and amphibians, native to the Northeast. We provide botanical and invertebrate study and mitigation services and a full range of Wetlands related services to our clients.
Oxbow's services include Wetland Delineation and Permit Preparation, for State, Federal and Local permits, Wetland Replication Design and Mitigation Planning, GIS Mapping and Analysis, Vernal Pool Evaluations, Wildlife Habitat Assessments, Radio-telemetry of Rare Turtles and Snakes, Conservation Planning, Expert Testimony and Client Representation.
We are a small, highly specialized company with cost effective services providing support for large and small projects as primary consultants and subconsultants to our colleagues at larger and national environmental consulting companies.
In Massachusetts, Oxbow has obtained Conservation and Management Permits, pursuant to the Massachusetts Endangered Species Act (MGL Ch. 121A) for complex projects from the Lower Cape to the Berkshires. We also provide wetlands and rare/endangered species services to clients in New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York.
